London Wasps - Packaging project

Exciting when projects creep up out of nowhere!!!

A toiletries packaging design project for London wasps rugby club.

I'm pretty happy with these, A quick & dirty ideas project - sort of a visual braindump!

The designs were just a test run for my slick skills, so aren't going any further.

Oh, and if you were wondering... I passed the test ;)

Winter Warmers

A snugly warm packaging design range!

A set of Christmas gifting products... One of my first range to hit stores!

It's been such a long time since I've looked at them and there's soo much I would change this time round,

hopefully that means I'm growing!

Colourful Kitchen - Packaging Design

At last, some of my work is coming through!!

This is a range of colourful kitchenware, with packaging to match!

Initial design 'lockup' by BRME design agency.

I played around with logo options & developed the design across all of the packaging formats

Here's a little teaser for an upcoming project. It's quite a big branding project I have been working on.

I can't really show too much, but here's a fun little teaser!

Back Tattoo

Sieze The Opportunity

& Let The Experience Live With You

Tattoo design for a friend. It's a customised font, I cant believe my work lives on, in skin!!!

(P.S. This is not a picture of her, this is photoshop)

Dosty Kloden Illustration

An illustration done for a friend. I just did the vector from a rough sketch he drew.

It has potential, could do with some more development maybe?

This is the illustration Izzy managed to put on a sweater. Not so sure about the colours he went for, but he seems happy enough.

Post a Poster

Poster design!

in all honesty it was adapted from a free template :(

i feel like a diiirrttty cheat, but it doesn't look much like the original... and i was pushed for time.

excuses, excuses...

awww and I've just remembered the tree is a stock image as well!
So ashamed.

Logo Champ!

I'm a Winner!

1st place in a logo competition for St Paul's Church, Crawley.

It was a simple brief;

‘Our Church, Our Community, Our Future’ are the words (slogan) we’ll be using. What we need from you is a picture to go with the words. The winning design will be used both inside our church and outside in the community.

They were happy, but let me know what you think...

the inevitable

I choose what my inevitability is going to be

Today...

Today isn't just another day. Today I'll create something beautiful.

Love it! Found on Piccsy.com

Loyalty Stamp Card Design

Here are a couple of designs for loyalty cards I put together...

The client decided to go with the pink and blue cards,

The feedback I recieved about the  'iphone apps' idea was it was too conceptual and didn't feel like a loyalty card. I still thought it was a cool idea, I guess I'll hold onto it for another time...

That festive feeling...

A Christmas poster to get you in the festive spirit...

Autumn Wallpaper

This is an idea I've had in my head for a while, it doesn't really mean anything, just some random musings I had to put down onto a page. It's also some welcome practice for my typography, something I've recently started to really appreciate.

It actually feels kinda serene, but maybe that's just me...

p.s stock background is from here
stock leaf is from flickr, but I can't remember where. Sorry

Healthy eating poster

It's late & 2 jobs doesn't leave much time for creativity, but here's some freelance work finished today, all on Photoshop & Indesign.

A new business card!

I was getting a little bored of the old one, so went for a refresh...

it's cleaner and simpler,

I'm pretty proud of the subtle db texture in the background!

let's hope it brings lots of new opportunities...

Lil' Sketch Update

Here are a couple of little sketches I quite liked & thought I would share.

The 1st pic is of a sketchbook made from old cardboard...

...don't let it be said that I haven't done my bit for the environment!

I do feel some of the appeal of hand drawn images is lost in the cold technological world of scanning & uploading onto the net, but how else could I share??

Crowdsourcing Olive Oil label design

I thought I would have a go at crowd sourcing,

just to help me keep busy and working to a strict brief.

So these are the final designs for Vennakki,

a brand aimed at the "young affluent with a taste

for gastronomy and indulgent lifestyle

and new insight about luxurious and sensorial experiences."

Please follow the link here to see the presentation with other design proposals

Let me know if you have any thoughts,

I'm pretty happy with these final designs & layouts, I hope the client is too!

Fingers crossed.

Flyer design

Just a couple of quick InDesign flyers I've done to help out a friend,

I prefer the 1st, they liked the 2nd.

Bowers & Wilkins Speakers

Speaker Design Take 2

So I wasn't 100% convinced with the first speaker project, so went with a little change of direction...

Which do you prefer?

I've tried to make it more feasible, hence designing for a specific brand, Bowers & Wilkins and taking some styling and design queues from their current product line up.

I have also been trying to work on rendering in a hyper realistic style...

Good things are coming...

Speaker Design progression

Just started modelling one day, I wanted to do a quick speaker project, but then it started taking over...

I was going to do a quick aftereffects animation for a dubvine track and just wanted to make one speaker,

but after I started, I just wanted to keep going and make it better...

This is where the Dubvine, 'vine' inspiration shows through.
